Opposition demands Chidambaram's dismissal, Lok Sabha adjourned till noon

The Lok Sabha was adjourned till noon today, 27 April 2012 after opposition demanded for the dismissal of Home Minister P Chidambaram in the wake of allegations against his son Karti's investments in a telecom company.

The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) members started demanding for the dismissal of Chidambaram as soon as the house met for the day leading to an adjournment till noon.

Other opposition parties-All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and Janata Dal-United (JD-U) members also started raising slogans demanding the government to sack Chidambaram.
