Warehouse receipt A warehouse or depository receipt is issued when delivery takes place on a commodity exchange. It specifies the grade and quantity of commodities.
Warrant A relatively long-term option to purchase equity stock & a specified exercise price over a specified period of time.
Writer The seller of an option contract who is obliged to deliver or take delivery of the underlying instrument upon notification by the buyer (holder).
