Profit before tax (PBT) of Lancer Containers Lines Ltd stood at Rs 7.23 crore in Q2 FY27, climbing 12.27% year-on-year, and expanding by 31.22% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 5 crore, tumbling by 172.28% YoY and jumping 347.06% sequentially.
Total expenses soared by 70.03% to Rs 223.01 crore in Q2FY27 over Q2FY26. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 209.83 crore, surging by 76.94% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 5.86 crore, improving by 8.72% YoY.
For FY26, revenue from operations tumbled 43.64% to Rs 394.03 crore, while net profit tanked by 1708.57% to Rs 5.63 crore, compared to previous FY. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 33% to Rs 36.02 crore, and PBT surged 372.06% to Rs 6.42 crore compared to previous FY.
The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 9.41 crore in FY26, as against Rs 309.58 crore in FY25.
Lancer Containers Lines Ltd nosedived by 36.30% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 2.74% during the same period.
