Prime Focus Limited announced that its indirect subsidiary, Double Negative Films Limited, further acquired 31,18,865 equity shares in Ánima Kitchent Canarias, S.L., increasing DNFL’s shareholding in Anima by 2.41% and resulting in DNFL holding 50.86% of Anima. The acquisition, completed on November 4, 2026, involved a cash consideration of Rs 33,04,74,935, and provides access to Spanish animation production capabilities and markets, including a partnership with Sociedad Española para la Transformación Tecnológica, which has committed a total investment of Euro 24.9 million in Ánima Kitchent Canarias, S.L. Ánima Kitchent Canarias, S.L., founded in 2014, reported a turnover of Rs 92 crore in 2025, Rs 65 crore in 2024, and Rs 59 crore in 2023.
