Ecoplast Ltd share price retreated by 6.08% to Rs 457.05 after the company's net profit plunged by 75.98% to Rs 0.8 crore, while revenue from operations gained 16.89% to Rs 73.93 crore in Q3FY26 over Q2FY26.
The market capitalization of Plastic Products - Industrial industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 1.43 lakh crore, rising 5.79%. It has improved by 4.31% over last one week and eased lower by 0.50% in last one month while the market capitalization of Ecoplast Ltd has softened by 6.72% and 5.18% in the same period respectively.
Profit before tax (PBT) of Ecoplast Ltd stood at Rs 1.39 crore in Q3 FY26, tanking 57.23% year-on-year, and nosediving by 69.98% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 3 crore, slipping 8.93% YoY and crashing by 54.71% sequentially.
Total expenses witnessed a sharp rise of 23.59% to Rs 72.71 crore in Q3FY26 over Q3FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 54.17 crore, jumping 26.15% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 7.86 crore, registering a growth of 8.71% YoY.
For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations inched higher 6.40% to Rs 221.08 crore, while net profit declined by 15.24% to Rs 12.01 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 1705% to Rs 14.61 crore, and PBT fell 17.14% to Rs 16.0 crore compared to previous TTM.
The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 2.09 crore in FY26, as against Rs 12.9 crore in FY25.
Ecoplast Ltd nosedived by 11.99% in last one year, significantly underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 7.38% during the same period.
