Tata Motors’ acquisition of Iveco Group concludes, broadening its commercial mobility reach
30-Oct-2026, 09:31

Tata Motors has completed its acquisition of Iveco Group, a move expanding the Indian automaker’s global presence in the commercial mobility sector. The acquisition, facilitated through TML CV Holdings Pte. Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary, concluded October 29, 2025. Iveco Group, now a subsidiary of Tata Motors, encompasses brands including IVECO (commercial vehicles), FPT (powertrain technologies), IVECO BUS & HEULIEZ (buses and coaches), and IVECO CAPITAL. The company employs 33,000 people across 16 industrial sites and 22 research and development centers. Concurrent with the acquisition’s completion, Tata Motors changed its name from TML Commercial Vehicles Limited to Tata Motors Limited. The acquisition is not an offer to purchase Iveco shares, and shareholders are advised to review the official Offer Document for complete details and consult with tax advisors.
