JSW Energy Ltd share price inched up 2.88% to Rs 482.5 after the company's net profit soared by 114.20% to Rs 1141.04 crore, while revenue from operations increased sharply by 22.30% to Rs 6368.47 crore in Q3FY26 over Q2FY26.
The market capitalization of Power Generation industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 10.14 lakh crore, rising 2.94%. It has improved by 1.15% over last one week and fell by 9.94% in last one month while the market capitalization of JSW Energy Ltd has marginally improved by 3.96% and 12.98% in the same period respectively.
Profit before tax (PBT) of JSW Energy Ltd stood at Rs 1347.86 crore in Q3 FY26, rallying 41.06% year-on-year, and expanding by 93.71% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 3328 crore, surging by 18.33% YoY and jumping 25.89% sequentially.
Total expenses advancing by 14.60% to Rs 3694.32 crore in Q3FY26 over Q3FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 4.15 crore, tumbling by 89.20% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 224.95 crore, ticking higher by 4.03% YoY.
For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations surged 60.92% to Rs 18901.13 crore, while net profit saw a strong growth of 39.31% to Rs 2762.41 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 585635% to Rs 9087.82 crore, and PBT declined 10.30% to Rs 1985.82 crore compared to previous TTM.
The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 9898.31 crore in FY26, as against Rs 3838.48 crore in FY25.
JSW Energy Ltd nosedived by 9.98% in last one year, outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 13.45% during the same period.
