Fortis Healthcare Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, International Hospital Limited, has completed the acquisition of Suguna Ramaiah Hospitals Private Limited and the land and building of Suguna Hospital in Bengaluru for approximately Rs 277 crore. The acquisition, which includes a 110-bedded hospital with potential to expand to 150 beds, aligns with Fortis’ cluster-focused inorganic growth strategy and adds to its presence in the North West Bengaluru corridor, bringing the company’s operational bed capacity in the city to approximately 1,000. Suguna Hospital, commissioned in 2006, reported revenues of approximately Rs 50 crore in fiscal year 2026.
