Chemplast Sanmar to acquire 27% stake in Yesaryes Energy for Rs 45 lakhs

Chemplast Sanmar Limited will acquire 27% of the equity share capital of Yesaryes Energy Private Limited in cash for Rs 45 lakhs, according to a regulatory filing on Tuesday. The acquisition, which does not involve a related party transaction, will enable Chemplast Sanmar to source green energy (solar power) from Yesaryes Energy Private Limited’s 37.5 MW solar power plant in Tamil Nadu and reduce energy costs. Yesaryes Energy Private Limited was incorporated on January 20, 2025, and commenced commercial operations in April 2026. Veebee Yarnntex Private Limited is also involved in the transaction as the seller.
