Bajaj Finserv’s board approved a Rs 5,800 crore warrant subscription in Bajaj Finance Limited

Bajaj Finserv Limited announced that its board approved a subscription of warrants convertible into equity shares in its subsidiary, Bajaj Finance Limited, for a maximum cash consideration of Rs 5,800 crore. The preferential allotment will be made on a private placement basis, and Bajaj Finance Limited, an NBFC-D, generated a turnover of Rs 69,850.79 crore in the year ended March 31, 2026. Bajaj Finserv currently holds 51.30% of Bajaj Finance Limited's equity share capital, and the transaction is exempt from related-party transaction regulations.
