Monarch Surveyors and Engineering Consultants Limited has secured a Letter of Acceptance for a road development project in Tripura, valued at Rs 2,97,51,680. The project, awarded by National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, involves the implementation of a Resettlement Action Plan for improving and widening a 134.913 km stretch of NH-208 from km 101.300 (Khowai) to km 236.213 (Harina) and is being executed on an Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) basis under a Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Official Development Assistance (ODA) Loan. The transaction does not constitute a related-party transaction, and work is expected to commence immediately, with completion timelines as per the contract terms, pending necessary governmental approvals.
