Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd. is up 5.00% to Rs 387.5, extending recent gains and rising 15.24% over the last week.

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DPIL) has received a Rs 179.43 crore Letter of Award from Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML) for the supply of specialised medium voltage (MV) cables, marking the third consecutive year DPIL has secured this contract. The order, inclusive of GST, covers approximately 871 kilometers of cable, including 33 kV and 11 kV MV cable and associated 1.1 kV low voltage cable, specifically engineered with water-tree retardant (TR-XLPE) insulation to address Mumbai's challenging coastal and monsoon conditions. This award reflects AEML's assessment of DPIL’s manufacturing capabilities and delivery performance, further solidifying the company's position as a leading manufacturer of MV and EHV power cables in India.

Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd. shares saw a trading volume of 8.18 lakh today, a surge of 26.58% compared to the average volume over the past week. Diamond Power Infrastructure Ltd. jumped by 144.74% year-over-year, outperforming the NIFTY50 index's 6.43% loss.
