Canara Bank anticipates disruptions due to planned bank union strikes in September-October 2026

Canara Bank informed the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange of India that the United Forum of Bank Unions, comprising AIBEA, AIBOC, BEFI, NCBE, AIBOA, INBEF, and INBOC, has declared a strike on September 11, 2026, September 28-30, 2026, and a continuous strike from October 26, 2026, which may affect the functioning of the bank’s branches and offices.
