Anupam Rasayan India Limited announced that its board approved the acquisition of 2,60,065 equity shares of Tanfac Industries Limited on a preferential issue basis for an aggregate consideration of Rs 60,88,12,165, or Rs 2,341 per share. The acquisition aims to increase Anupam Rasayan’s shareholding in Tanfac Industries Limited, which was passively diluted due to a qualified institutional placement, and Tanfac Industries Limited is a joint sector company promoted by Anupam Rasayan India Limited and the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO).
