Vishnu Chemicals Limited has entered into a joint venture agreement with DCX Chrome SAS, a France-based company, to establish a greenfield manufacturing facility in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, with a proposed capacity of 6,000 tonnes per annum of high purity chromium metal. The joint venture company, to be incorporated in India, will be owned 50:50 by Vishnu Chemicals and DCX Chrome SAS, with an initial paid-up equity share capital of Rs 100,000, and the venture is expected to secure access to DCX’s technology and ensure a supply of raw materials for Vishnu Chemicals.
