India Forex kitty continue to hit record high

India's foreign exchange reserves rose by $11.47 billion to $740.80 billion in the week ending August 28, as reported by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Foreign currency assets (FCA) increased by $9.337 billion to $600.67 billion. Gold reserves also went up by $2.191 billion to $116.409 billion. India's Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) with the IMF were $18.81 billion, down $43 million from the prior week. The country's IMF reserve position dropped by $11 million to $4.914 billion.
