Pfizer Limited will cease Minipress XL sales by 2026, receiving $13.9 million

Pfizer Limited announced that it will discontinue the marketing, distribution, and sale of Minipress XL effective September 7, 2026, following a decision by Pfizer Inc. USA to discontinue the manufacture of the drug, and will receive a lump sum payment of USD 13.9 million, equivalent to Rs 131.38 crore, from Pfizer Inc. USA.
