BirlaNu acquires 26% stake in FPEL HR5 Energy for Rs 2.02 crore to build a solar plant

BirlaNu Limited, formerly HIL Limited, announced it has entered into a Share Subscription and Shareholder Agreement with Fourth Partner Energy Private Limited and FPEL HR5 Energy Private Limited to acquire a 26% stake in FPEL HR5 Energy Private Limited for Rs 2.02 crore. The acquisition, which is expected to be completed within six months, will facilitate the establishment of a 3.58 MW AC / 5.37 MWp DC solar power plant for BirlaNu’s Faridabad and Hajjar units under a captive scheme, and does not constitute a related party transaction.
