Bombay Cycle & Motor Agency Ltd share price softened by 3.60% to Rs 1550.0 after the company's net profit surged by 189.36% to Rs 1.36 crore, while revenue from operations dropped sharply 28.13% to Rs 2.81 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Trading & Distributors industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 51326.51 crore, gaining 9.84%. It has marginally improved by 4.70% over last one week and jumped by 21.89% in last one month while the market capitalization of Bombay Cycle & Motor Agency Ltd has inched up 0.71% and 13.65% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Bombay Cycle & Motor Agency Ltd stood at Rs 1.58 crore in Q2 FY26, rising 7.48% year-on-year, and rallying 444.83% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 1 crore, retreating 11.57% YoY and plunging by 152.45% sequentially. Total expenses marginally dropped 6.81% to Rs 2.6 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 0.78 crore, softening 4.88% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations rose 19.77% to Rs 12.42 crore, while net profit tumbled by 178.96% to Rs 2.44 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 191% to Rs 0.64 crore, and PBT plunged by 232.83% to Rs 2.63 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 1.67 crore in FY26, as against Rs 2.3 crore in FY25. Bombay Cycle & Motor Agency Ltd crashed 20.56% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 1.97% during the same period.
