Biocon appoints S.R. Batliboi & Associates LLP as statutory auditors for five years

Biocon Limited announced changes to its board and statutory auditors following its 48th Annual General Meeting on August 6, 2026. Mr. Eric Vivek Mazumdar was re-appointed as a director liable to retire by rotation, while B S R & Co. LLP’s term as statutory auditors expired. S.R. Batliboi & Associates LLP was appointed as the new statutory auditors for a five-year term, concluding after the 53rd AGM in 2031, and Mr. Nicholas Robert Haggar retired as an Independent Director.
