Godavari Biorefineries’ income rose to Rs 559.9 crore, commissioning a new distillery

Godavari Biorefineries Ltd., a producer of ethanol and bio-based specialty chemicals, announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reporting total income of Rs 559.9 crore, compared to Rs 534.0 crore in the year-ago quarter, while its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were Rs 2.6 crore, down from Rs 6.5 crore in Q1 FY26. The company commissioned a 200 KLPD grain-based distillery at Sameerwadi, increasing its total ethanol capacity to 800 KLPD, and secured an Indian patent for a cost-effective process to manufacture branched alcohols.
