Magadh Sugar reports total income of Rs 311.27 crore, posting a loss for Q1FY26

Magadh Sugar & Energy Limited (MSEL) (BSE: 540650 / NSE: MAGAD SUGAR) reported a total income of Rs 311.27 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared to Rs 333.88 crore in the same quarter of the previous year, while its profit after tax was Rs (12.22) crore against Rs 0.22 crore in Q1FY26. The Board of Directors noted the unaudited financial results at a meeting held on August 4, 2026, and Chairperson C.S. Nopany highlighted renewed policy support for Bihar’s sugar industry and the company’s plans to modify the Narkatiaganj Sugar Plant and install an incineration boiler at the Narkatiaganj Distillery Plant.
