Urban Company Ltd consolidated sales up 24.15% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 42.84%

Urban Company Ltd share price declined by 0.65% to Rs 130.3 after the company's net profit tumbled by 42.84% to Rs 92.12 crore, while revenue from operations gained significantly 24.15% to Rs 528.34 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of E-Retail/ E-Commerce industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 5.27 lakh crore, easing 7.23%. It has marginally improved by 7.83% over last one week and soared by 16.08% in last one month while the market capitalization of Urban Company Ltd has inched up 0.39% and 14.08% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Urban Company Ltd stood at Rs 83.75 crore in Q2 FY26, crashing by 1584.93% year-on-year, and tumbling by 16.13% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 130 crore, surging by 262.22% YoY and falling 13.70% sequentially. Total expenses rose by 15.03% to Rs 636.77 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 151.15 crore, soaring 16.89% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations jumped by 35.92% to Rs 1555.54 crore, while net profit tanked by 197.94% to Rs 234.81 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA plunged by 14054% to Rs 359.6 crore, and PBT collapsed by 711.56% to Rs 174.6 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 98.63 crore in FY26, as against Rs 54.56 crore in FY25. Urban Company Ltd crashed 22% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 4.36% during the same period.
