Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd consolidated sales up 11.37% on year in Q2FY2026, net profit contracted by 15.80%

Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd share price softened by 2.58% to Rs 559.75 after the company's net profit dropped 15.80% to Rs 163.43 crore, while revenue from operations edged up 11.37% to Rs 906.64 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Industrial Minerals industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 2.31 lakh crore, expanding by 37.53%. It has marginally improved by 2.08% over last one week and ticked higher by 1.67% in last one month while the market capitalization of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd has slipped by 0.50% and 23.95% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd stood at Rs 227.67 crore in Q2 FY26, rising 1.49% year-on-year, and slipping 2.97% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 115 crore, jumping 25.51% YoY and crashing by 326.65% sequentially. Total expenses slightly declined by 1.28% to Rs 748.93 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 42.27 crore, soaring 31.11% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations rose 15.75% to Rs 2850.84 crore, while net profit rose by 13.81% to Rs 679.85 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA witnessed a strong improvement of 35382% to Rs 290.22 crore, and PBT expanded by 11.35% to Rs 888.71 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 1059.37 crore in FY26, as against Rs 110.07 crore in FY25. Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd rallied 38.79% in last one year, significantly outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 4.36% during the same period.
