SGS India verified Hitachi Energy India’s sustainability report aligned with SEBI’s framework

SGS India Private Limited has issued an assurance statement confirming the credibility of Hitachi Energy India Limited’s Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report for the period April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. The independent assessment, aligned with SEBI’s BRSR Core and Non-Core Framework and the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, covered nine ESG attributes and related KPIs across multiple Indian sites. SGS India’s verification, which included data reviews, interviews, and on-site visits, concluded that the reported information is complete, accurate, reliable, and fairly stated, with a materiality threshold of ± 5%. The assurance engagement focused on data within a defined scope and utilized sample-based verification, excluding forward-looking statements and certain external data.
