Tata Power Renewable Energy breaks ground on 800 MW project in Andhra Pradesh, partnering with Suzlon

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited, a subsidiary of The Tata Power Company Limited, today conducted a groundbreaking ceremony for an 800 MW renewable energy project in Andhra Pradesh, comprising 400 MW of solar power capacity and 400 MW of wind power capacity to be developed by Suzlon. The project, which will require 3,462 acres of land, is expected to generate approximately 4,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities and will involve an investment of Rs 5,750 crore, with Suzlon undertaking the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) scope for the wind component.
