Tata Power acquires 100% stake in Ryapte Power Transmission for Rs 10.87 crore

The Tata Power Company Limited has acquired 100% equity stake in Ryapte Power Transmission Limited (RPTL), a special purpose vehicle, for a cash consideration of Rs 10.87 crore, according to a disclosure filed with the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange on Monday. Approval for the share transfer was received from the Ministry of Power, and the acquisition process was completed on July 30, 2026. RPTL was incorporated on May 21, 2025, and is constructing approximately 250 kilometers of transmission lines in Karnataka.
