RPG Life Sciences sells API business to RPG Active Pharma for Rs 33.55 crore

RPG Life Sciences Limited announced it has unanimously approved the sale of its Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) business to its wholly-owned subsidiary, RPG Active Pharma Limited (RPGAP), for approximately Rs 33.55 crore, subject to adjustments. The transaction is expected to be completed on or before September 30, 2026. Additionally, India Life Sciences Fund IV Domestic and Vistaject Fund will invest a total of Rs 243.33 crore for a roughly 40% stake in RPGAP, with a commitment to potentially invest up to Rs 700 crore for growth opportunities, and RPGAP will acquire the entire stake of Actis Generics Private Limited for Rs 80 crore.
