Star Health reports Rs 550 crore profit after tax in Q1 FY27, up 25% year-on-year

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited announced a profit after tax of Rs 550 crores for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), a 25% year-on-year increase, according to a press release. The company’s underwriting profit rose sharply to Rs 111 crores compared to Rs 16 crores in Q1 FY26, with gross written premium reaching Rs 4,287 crores, a 19% year-on-year increase.
