Nifty November futures trade at premium

The Nifty November 2024 futures closed at 23,931.10, a premium of 47.65 points compared with the Nifty's closing 23,883.45 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 tumbled 257.85 points or 1.07% to 23,883.45.

The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, added 2.24% to 14.59.

HDFC Bank, State Bank of India and ICICI Bank and were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The November 2024 F&O contracts will expire on 28 November 2024.
