Nifty February futures trade at premium

The Nifty February 2024 futures closed at 21,625.05, a premium of 102.95 points compared with the Nifty's closing 21,522.10 in the cash market.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 lost 215.50 points or 0.99% to 21,522.10.

The NSE's India VIX, a gauge of market's expectation of volatility over the near term, advanced 3.65% to 16.25.

Reliance Industries, Bajaj Finance and HDFC Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

The February 2024 F&O contracts will expire on 29 February 2024.
